The 1948 film The Bicycle Thieves, is a movie that highlights the human condition with contrasting and emotional themes. Holga photography is sequenced as double-exposure to show the overlapping ups and downs of the characters in the film due to events that occur to them while in search of their lifeline: a stolen bicycle.
